Aspire Visa Card - Suggest
Frequently the only way to rebuild a damaged credit score is to take action. However we strongly suggest that you avoid the Aspire credit card.
It comes with an annual fee of $150.00 and a $6.50 application fee. On top of this you have to pay a $29 application fee and 19.75% APR.
In 2006 the state of New York conducted an investigation into the companies that were behind the Aspire Visa (Columbus Bank & Trust and Compucredit). The investigation found the card was enrolling cardholders in third party membership programs and charging unauthorized fees.
In the end Aspire Visa paid $11 million to New York consumers in a settlement and over $500,000 in civil penalties and costs.
In sum we do not suggest the Aspire Visa. Instead we suggest the prepaid Account Now Visa.
It comes with; Free Direct Deposit, Free Bill Pay, Free Activation, and Free Credit Builder. And it Even Let's You Borrow Money & Build Credit.
